Trip cost:

    From $9,995 per person, double occupancy depending on category. Single travelers will pay no single supplement; they will be assigned a stateroom in Categories A-D, subject to availability, at the applicable per person rates stated in the Land and Cruise Rates section.  (Persons residing at the same address and/or traveling together cannot book tow separate cabins.)  Price, schedule and activities are subject to change.
   
 
   
  Program Inclusions:
 
  • 30-night cruise aboard the new, 106-guest expedition cruise ship Orion
  • One-night stay at Hotel Maspalomas Oasis in Las Palmas, Gran Canaria, Canary Islands, with breakfast
  • Welcome and farewell cocktail receptions aboard Orion, hosted by the captain
  • All meals aboard ship, including house wine, beer, and soft drinks with lunch and
    dinner
  • Complete program of tours and shore excursions as described in the itinerary
  • Educational program of lectures and discussions by accompanying study leaders
  • Experienced expedition leader and naturalist guides to conduct excursions aboard Zodiacs and offer shipboard presentations on the natural history, ornithology, geology, and marine life of the islands visited
  • Professional Travel Dynamics International tour staff
  • Complete pre-departure materials including destination information, travel portfolio, document wallet, and name tag
  • Baggage handling abroad and transfers on the designated departure and arrival dates for passengers traveling on flights arranged through Travel Dynamics International or their affiliate VWTI. Participants on independently booked flights may need to arrange their own transportation or may purchase transfers from Travel Dynamics International.
  • Port dues and embarkation taxes
  • Gratuities to porters, guides, and drivers
  Not Included:
      Airfare; visas; passports; luggage, cancellation, and accident insurance; meals, soft drinks, and alcoholic beverages other than those specified above; personal expenses such as laundry, telephone calls, and faxes; and gratuities to shipboard personnel.
   
   

Payments & Terms: 
    
A $500 per person advance payment with completed reservation form secures your space. For your convenience, you may charge your deposit to your Visa, Discover, or MasterCard.  Final payment is due August 20,2003.  Credit cards are not accepted for final payment.  However, personal checks are accepted for both deposits and final payment.
    All Cancellations of confirmed reservations are subject to a $300 per person administrative fee.  Additionally, passengers are subject to any cancellation fees assessed by the purveyors of services, including airlines or hotels used in the itinerary.  Cancellations received 61-90 days prior to departure will be assed a penalty equal to 50% of the total program cost per person.  Cancellations received within 60 days of departure are subject to 100% cancellation penalties.  Requests for cancellations must be made in writing.  No refunds will be made for any part of this program in which you choose not to participate.  Service fees may apply to deviation and are non-refundable.
