Land on Broughton Island, near the edge of Auyuittuq National Park
Reserve. Explore this region known for its Inuit community, Arctic
scenery, and wildlife including Arctic hare, caribou, polar bears,
seals, and beluga whales. |

DISKO ISLAND, GREENLAND |

Arrive on Disko Island, the largest island along Greenland’s coast and
geologically some of its newest land at only 50 million years old. The
island’s only town, Qeqertarsuaq, was a one-time whaling center and is
impressively set against a backdrop of basalt mountains. |

ILULISSAT GLACIER | ILULISSAT |
|
|
| |
Explore Ilulissat Glacier, an extension of the Greenland Ice Cap. Board
Zodiacs to cruise among the icebergs and floes. Explore the Inuit
village of Ilulissat, located at the mouth of Ice Fjord and hometown of
Arctic explorer Knud Rasmussen. Also visit the countryside and the Knud
Rasmussen Museum. |

Day 12
SISIMIUT |

| |
|
Call in Sisimiut, a fishing center and Greenland’s second largest town,
located above the Arctic Circle. Tour the colonial part of town and the
Sisimiut Museum, an 18th-century building featuring exhibits on local
Greenlandic trade and industry. |

Day 13
KANGERLUSSUAQ | DISEMBARK | OTTAWA, CANADA |
Disembark in Kangerlussuaq (Sondrestromfjord) and transfer to the
airport for a chartered flight to Ottawa.
Overnight at the Fairmont
Château Laurier. |
