   Program cost:  
     
  $3849 per person, double occupancy. Add $1360 for single occupancy.  
 
 
  Above pricing is based upon guaranteed hotel and cruise rates. Changes in government fees or surcharges may effect trip costs.  
 

 

 
   Program Price Includes:  
     
 
  • 8 nights land accommodations at Egyptian 5-star or best-available hotels
  • 3 nights shipboard accommodations aboard the 5-star MS Salacia
  • Meals as listed in the itinerary, B= Breakfast, L= Lunch, D= Dinner
  • Transfers on arrival and departure in Cairo airport
  • Private air-conditioned motorcoach transportation throughout Egypt
  • Services of local English-speaking, university-trained Egyptologist/guide throughout the entire trip
  • Sky & Telescope study leader, who will give lectures and astronomical assistance throughout the trip
  • All entrance fees to included museums and archaeological sites
  • Baggage handling throughout Egypt
  • Gratuities to all service staff, except Eygptologist
  • Egyptian entry Visa for US passport holders. (Citizens of other countries should consult their local consular authority.)
 
     
   Not Included:  
     
  Air travel to, from, and within Egypt; unspecified meals; visa fees for non-US citizens; camera/video fees at archaeological sites; alcoholic beverages; gratuities to Egyptologist guide and ship’s crew; and items of a personal nature.  
 

 

 
 

 Airfare:

 
     
  Tour cost does not include airfare to and within Egypt. TravelQuest will make available special nonstop group Economy and Business Class airfares from New York with add-ons from other US cities. We project 2006 airfare to be approximately $850. Guaranteed airfare will be available in Spring, 2005. Contact TravelQuest for details.  
     
   Payments and Terms:  
     
  A $400-per-person advance payment, along with a completed reservation form, confirms your space. A second deposit of $500 is due March 21, 2005. The balance is due December 15, 2005. All advance payments, less a $100-per-person service fee, are refundable until March 21, 2005. From March 22 to December 15, 2005, there will be a $700-per-person service fee. There are no refunds after December 15, 2005. Air cancellation terms are additional.
    We highly recommend that all travelers obtain trip medical/cancellation insurance. Application forms will be provided with your initial invoice.
