The workshop/tour will begin in just    days.

Few places in the American West hold as much intrigue as famous Death Valley, one of the most striking desert settings you will ever visit. While the name is foreboding, in the valley and surrounding mountains you will find some of the most picturesque scenery anywhere:  spectacular wildflower displays, snow capped mountain peaks, beautiful sand dunes, abandoned mines, and even the lowest elevation in North America!

Join TravelQuest International and award winning sky photographer, Dennis Mammana, for evenings of stargazing, daytime photo safaris of this fascinating land of stark beauty, and lectures on photographing both earth and sky—including tips on using film and digital cameras, exposure guides, filters, panoramic and nighttime photography, and more.

Our journey will begin and end with stays in famous Las Vegas, Nevada – another very photogenic destination!

By day, we’ll explore the wonders of Death Valley, situated in the Mojave and Colorado Deserts along the California/Nevada border. The Valley is home to more than 900 kinds of plants, desert wildlife, and natural wonders unknown in any other part of the world. With a permanent population less than 1,000 people and virtually no rain, these dark desert skies offer wonderful opportunities for deep sky stargazing or trying your hand at nighttime sky photography.

Reserve your space today to visit one of America’s most picturesque regions.
