Breakfast Daily
Chena Hot Springs
Over the next two
days each traveler will receive a pass for unlimited use of the relaxing
natural hot springs that make this resort so popular. For an additional
fee, you can also try your hand at dog sledding, snow shoeing, ice
skating, cross country skiing, or guided snowmobile and horse drawn
sleigh rides. It’s your choice! Each evening, you can view the aurora
from outside your hotel room, or for an additional fee take the snow
coach back to Spring Creek Mountain. Never worry that you will miss an
auroral display — upon request, the hotel staff will knock on your door
when the northern lights appear!
During these two days
there will be lectures on the aurora, including an in-depth scientific
discussion on its causes, as well as a visit with a native Eskimo who
will share traditional folklore on the northern lights.
